2026 Awards Luncheon

Each year, the Colorado Lawyers Committee honors individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the work of the Colorado Lawyers Committee through outstanding pro bono service. During 2024, 1,340 volunteers donated 12,480 hours through the Colorado Lawyers Committee’s 29 active projects in the areas of Children’s Rights & Education, Civil & Criminal Law, Poverty & Public Benefits, Community Development, and Immigration. This year, the Lawyers Committee will honor a truly exceptional group of volunteers:
Timothy R. Macdonald, with the ACLU of Colorado, will receive the Outstanding Sustained Contribution Award. The Outstanding Sustained Contribution Award is presented each year to an individual whose participation with the Colorado Lawyers Committee over many years has significantly and positively promoted its mission, making an important difference in the lives of children and the underprivileged.
A Special Recognition Award will be presented to Hill & Robbins, P.C., for its support of a public interest fellowship, alternating between host programs at CLC and Colorado Legal Services, since 1996.

Immigration Task Force (Nancy Elkind, Palmer Polaski P.C., retired, and Katherine Rosenthal, Access Immigration LLC, Co-Chairs)
