Administrative Associate (Full-Time)
The Colorado Lawyers Committee, a 48-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to pro bono legal advocacy, seeks a detail-oriented, highly organized, and tech-savvy Administrative Associate to support operations, programs, and communications. This full-time role is ideal for someone comfortable working across digital platforms, including volunteer management systems, databases, and web tools. We are a very small office with 4 full-time employees, 2 part-time employees and a rotation of interns.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operations Support
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics using Microsoft Outlook and Zoom
Prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Support internal workflow organization using shared drives (SharePoint/OneDrive) and collaborative tools
Provide general administrative support, including document management and office coordination
Database Management
Help administer and maintain CLC’s GivePulse platform, including:
Creating and managing volunteer opportunities, events, and projects
Tracking volunteer participation and engagement metrics
Running reports and exporting data for internal use
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across GivePulse and internal databases
Support integration of volunteer data into broader organizational systems and reporting
Website & Digital Content Maintenance
Update website content, including program pages, event listings, and resources
Coordinate with staff to ensure timely and accurate digital communications
Troubleshoot minor website or platform issues
Program & Event Support
Provide administrative and technical support for programs, clinics, and trainings
Coordinate event logistics, including registration, tracking, and follow-up
Support virtual and in-person events
Communications Support
Draft and format newsletters, announcements, and email communications using Microsoft Outlook and related tools
Assist with managing contact lists and distribution groups
Qualifications:
Required
3-5 years of administrative, operations, and program support experience
Associate’s or Batchelor’s Degree
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)
Experience working with database management platforms
High level of organization and attention to detail, especially with data management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a hybrid environment
Preferred
Direct experience with GivePulse or similar volunteer management system
Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., Squarespace)
Experience in a nonprofit, legal, or volunteer-driven environment
Work Environment & Schedule:
40 hours/week
Employee must be based in the Denver metro area
Occasional evening hours may be required for events or trainings
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $48,000/year
Benefits include a healthcare stipend, unlimited paid time off, paid parking in downtown Denver, and 2% employer match on 403(b) contribution (if participating)
