Welcome McKenna Milton, Hill & Robbins Fellow 2022

The Colorado Lawyers Committee is pleased to welcome McKenna Milton as the 2022 Hill & Robbins Fellow. McKenna is a rising 2L at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. McKenna is an active board member of the First Generation Law Student Alliance and will be a teaching assistant for the research and writing program in the fall. She will also participate in the Civil Rights Clinic in the Fall of 2023.

McKenna graduated from the University of Puget Sound. Prior to starting law school, she spent three years working for Connelly Law Offices, a robust civil litigation firm in Tacoma, Washington. She helped advocate for victims of serious injuries stemming from medical malpractice, hazardous work environments, and sexual abuse. McKenna also assisted a pro bono attorney with immigration cases at the Northwest Detention Center for detainees seeking asylum in the United States. This work with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project inspired her to continue pursuing public interest after her first year of law school.

As a law student and future lawyer, she plans to continue to be a strong and dependable advocate for those in her community. She is honored to be named the Hill & Robbins Fellow and is eager to use her time at the Colorado Lawyers Committee to continue fighting for and protecting individual rights, particularly those of underserved populations.

Welcome McKenna!
